More movies

I remembered a couple more. People are shocked that I haven't seen the Goonies. And our neighbor recently insisted we watch Ghostbusters, because I don't remember seeing it. I may have as a kid, but had zero recollection of any of the plot. Of course, by that definition, I was so young when I saw E.T. that I effectively haven't seen it.

  1. Eric hasn't seen Goonies, either. We should have a movie night.

  2. To be fair, if you know the song from Ghostbusters, than you know the plot. Scary stuff, call the Ghostbusters and they get it. The end.

  3. I haven't seen Ghostbusters, the Goonies, or Footloose... Or Dirty Dancing, Wayne's World, or Forrest Gump. People are always surprised.

I would say you should see the original Star Wars trilogy, although in cases like this I always wonder how people who didn't grow up with the movie will like it. Still excellent movies though.

If you've seen one Rocky movie, you've seen them all, and I think Rocky Balboa is the best of them.

  4. I tried to watch Star Wars. I couldn't get past the first ten minutes, and if you don't like the first ten minutes, chances are it won't get better. Anyway, between Spaceballs, Thumb Wars, Toy Story 2, and a general awareness of pop culture, I know the plot well enough to keep up with the references to it.

Be nice.
