My three loyal readers may know of my love for Cake Wrecks. It's not a good picture, so I'm not submitting it to the site, but for your viewing pleasure, I give you this:

I seriously have no idea what this is supposed to be. A hill? A sick dog? I don't know.

Picture 3

Here's the light in my dining room. It's brand new. And I don't like it. At all. If they had consulted me before putting it in, I would have advised brushed chrome, rather than the unattractive--but still in style--oiled bronze. The light in the entry way is simliar to this.

They will be replaced.

I actually already have the light for the entry way. I bought it years ago to put in the dining room in my old house. We never got around to it, which was good, because now I have it for here. Now all I need is a tall ladder and someone handy.

Another day, another picture

Here, for your viewing pleasure, is the lovely tile work in my shower. I kind of wish I could find a shower curtain that was clear at the top so I could show it off. Actually, what I really want is a "black bar" shower curtain, like they use to sensor things in magazines, etc. Thus far, my searches have proven fruitless.

But hey! New tile! And you can't see it, but it's a brand new tub, too. It still has the cleaning instructions sticker on it. I like the thought of a shower that no one else has used. The odds that anyone has used the toilet are pretty slim, too. I know they used the upstairs one when they were remodelling, but I don't think they used this one. Let's say they didn't, okay?

If ever you're trying to rearrange your furniture without physically moving it, RC Willey has a great application on their website that will let you do it virtually. Unfortunately, it won't tell you if it's a good idea or not. That is an adventure I will have on Saturday.

New house!

So, I bought a condo. I have officially owned real estate since Friday afternoon.

I'm currently splinched, for Harry Potter fans. No matter what I need or where I am, it is always, always in the other place.

I took a few photos when I first went over, but I don't have my camera at work (although I did carry it around unknowingly on Monday, which explains why my purse was so heavy). I also took a few photos on my phone when I went for the home inspection. Alas, I can't seem to transfer them via USB, so I'll have to text message them to my e-mail, save them, and upload them here. I do it all for you, my friends. All for you.

Interesting sidenote, I thought my phone took lousy pictures, but it appears that it only shows them crappily on the phone. The quality is decent.

Without further ado, here is the lovely tile counter top in my kitchen. (Which reminds me, I probably need to seal that grout. Home Depot here I come! Again!) And look! My dishwasher!

More to come, my friends. More to come. I gotta have something to keep you coming back.
